Our New Apartment

We've been here for over a month now and have been all unpacked for almost that long so I'm a little late getting this up but I never did it for our old place so at least it's an improvement. This post is mostly pictures. I tried to get the baby in most of the pics. She's been a sport letting me carry her around and get lots of pictures. Here's our place:

Living Room:

This is where we spend most of our time. Lucy still has to be held at night (if anyone has any suggestions for that, please let me know!) so one of us will hold her in that reclined spot on the couch.

Dining Room:
Lucy will stay in her swing for a while. She (sometimes) will sleep in there for a couple hours at night. She does nap in there pretty well. She also will stay in there awake while we make dinner and eat. (The kitchen is immediately to her right so she can see us which helps)

Kitchen:

Sorry about the full trash can to the left in the top picture :) (The dumpster is quite a walk away so it's hard for me to take it out when I'm home by myself with the baby.) You can see the baby monitor to the right in the bottom picture. The swing is right next to that. Also, notice my menu board and kitchen towel. I love them both! Yay for actually doing Pinterest projects!

Laundry Room:

I love all the storage in here! The shelves were already there and we use it for some of our food storage since we don't have a pantry. We have more in cupboards but this is nice to have some extra space as we're trying to build up our food storage.

Guest Bathroom:

Master Bedroom:

It's pretty spacious and the closets are definitely big enough for our clothes PLUS extra storage space. We like the curtains because it helps darken the room.

Master Bathroom:

I LOVE the huge counter space in the bathroom. I'm sure Kris does too so my make-up and stuff isn't just stuck around the sink haha. I do try to keep it organized but it just is nice to have extra space. I also like having two showers.

Lucy's Room:

I want to put shelves on the wall to the left of the dresser. (Another Pinterest project) It won't look so empty once I do that and it will be a nice display for all her elephants :) I'll post pics once I've done that (maybe in a month or two... it's a more expensive project so we have to spread out buying the materials to stick to our budget)

I love our new place! How many pictures did you see Lucy in? (she wasn't in all but is somewhat "hidden" in a few)
