Lucy is four months old! She grows so much every month. We had an exciting month. Grandma and Grandpa Anderson and Aunt Melissa came to visit on Labor Day and Lucy was very good, although she did sleep lots. We ate at IHOP for dinner. Then, we went on Lucy's first vacation! We traveled to Chicago. It was quite an experience. Lucy did great but let's just say we won't be heading
back to Chicago anytime soon. We were able to both do a session at the
temple and then we went to the aquarium. Lots of people commented on how
cute Lucy was as we passed them. She's adorable! Lucy also go to meet
Great Grandma and Grandpa Anderson this month! They live in South Dakota
but were driving through Indiana on their way East and stopped in
Crawfordsville. We met up with them there and had dinner at Applebee's.
It was so great to see them and I was so glad they got the chance to
meet Lucy!
Lucy still needs to be held at night but we
are planning on putting her in her crib and starting the Ferber "cry it
out" method in the next week or so. She giggles lots and lots and plays
with her toes ALL the time! It's a good thing they are attached to her
feet! She can also rotate when we put her down. If her head is facing
one way, we'll turn around and look back and it will be the other way!
Lucy has started liking to play more games with us too. She likes
peek-a-boo, blowing raspberries on her tummy, being tickled, being
thrown in the air, and being held upside down. Her favorite toy is her
green rattle elephant. She went to her first movie this month- Wizard of
Oz- and did great. She slept pretty much the whole time.
Here's some pictures of our growing girl:
I thought this one was funny (^) because it shows how wiggly she is! Most of the pictures we get are like this :)
