This is Kris with his mom, Tressa. She is such an amazing woman and I am so grateful to have her as a mother-in-law. I am amazed at her strength and kindness. Kris was lucky to have her as a mom and I feel lucky to have joined the family. She was always supportive of us and went above and beyond with helping with our wedding and making sure it was beautiful and that I was happy. She continues to provide us with love and support. This mother's day, she was able to get a wonderful steak dinner together, complete with mashed potatoes, green beans, strawberries, watermelon, salad, and rolls in under an hour! We both love her and will miss her very much when we move.
This is me with my mom, Lyn. One thing I love so much about my mom is not only that she does so much service for other people, but she is always happy about it. One of Kris's old mission companions pointed this out to me (he had served in our ward and eaten dinner at my parent's house while he was on his mission) when he said how she always had a smile on her face and that her smile was contagious. That has been a wonderful example to me. She has also always been so supportive of both Kris and me, especially lately with helping us find furniture for our move and then being willing to store it for us. Although we'll miss family in Utah, we are excited to be close to my mom. We both love her.
Thanks for being such wonderful moms!
