- We spent 2 nights in O'Fallon, Illinois (just about 20 minutes east of St. Louis) for only $7! We had gotten enough points from previous stays that it hardly cost us anything. We stayed at Country Inn and Suites and it was very nice.
- We watched the new Oz movie and I really enjoyed it. Many people know that I'm a huge Wizard of Oz fan so I was pretty sure I'd either love it or hate it and I thought it was very well done. Kris just thought it was okay but he would see it again.
- We went to see the arch on Wednesday. Kris had been there but never gone inside- they have a visitor's center, museum, movies, and a little tram that you can ride to the top of the arch. We did ride to the top in a cramped little tram but the view was great. We also went through the museum they have there which was pretty cool.
- We planned to go on a one hour little cruise on the Mississippi River but it was super cold and, as previously mentioned, we both were feeling a little sick, so instead we bought tickets to the Lewis and Clarke movie they were playing at the visitor's center. We both really enjoyed the movie and learned new things so we were happy with the swap.
- Just hanging out at the hotel. We bought a couple of books from Amazon that I found from Pinterest. They are cute little quiz books "How well do you know your husband/wife?" so we went through those together and it was lots of fun.
- We went to an awesome mall in Fairview Heights. We got a diaper bag (we have looked for one we both like at a million places and found one that was half off that we both love), a new purse for me, and a little stuffed baby elephant for the baby. We also got a cute little baby outfit. It was fun to look around a nice mall.
- We got back on Thursday and I still had Friday off work so I could go to the doctor. We were able to get LOTS of cleaning done around the house on Friday and Saturday which was awesome to have the chance to do that and not feel like we were sacrificing a short weekend.
