Then he packed up the room and drove over where we traded off. Lucy and I hung out in the waiting room for a while until she had a MASSIVE spit-up. You may think this is a normal thing but not for Lucy. We don't even use burp cloths ever because she just never spits up. This got all over her clothes and my clothes. So we headed back to the car and changed. Then we spent some time walking around the grounds while we waited for Kris.We took some pictures while we waited.
After we finished at the temple, we ate at Boston Market (we don't have any of those nearby) and then headed into Chicago, where, again, the traffic was awful. I guess there was game that day. Lucy started SCREAMING and we couldn't find parking. We ended up having to pay $50 to park. So we paid and went into the aquarium. It is a great aquarium. Lucy really enjoyed watching the fish, too. I snuck a picture of Kris holding her while they were watching the big fish tank. We couldn't have flash on but it turned out OK:
Lots of people commented on how cute she was. Then we wanted to head over to the Sears Tower (its called something else now but I don't remember what). We didn't want to have to go through traffic and then have to pay another 50 bucks to park again so we took a taxi- our very first time. When we got there, the people said it would be at least 2 hours to go up to the top. We decided to just head out because it wouldn't have been fun to be there that long, plus then by the time we got back to the car, the game would be over and we'd hit game traffic heading home. We did have a nice time at the aquarium and the temple but overall, we have decided not to head back to Chicago again anytime soon. Maybe if we didn't have to drive :)
