Lucy's Blessing

Today was Lucy's Blessing Day. It was special because Kris's family was able to join us and it's also both Kris and his dad's birthday today! My Grandma Leavitt sent us a beautiful dress for Lucy to wear. I absolutely love it. It is beautifully made and she looks so adorable in it.

Kris gave her the blessing and both of our Dads stood in the circle. For those of you who are unfamiliar with baby blessings, here is a link to lds.org explaining priesthood blessings as well as baby blessings in particular. It was a beautiful blessing and luckily Lucy did not cry at all! Kris was worried about that. Kayla was nice enough to get some pictures of us with Lucy and some shots of just Lucy with her in the dress.
